My mother Ananya has been accepted for treatment at Mysuru Transplant Centre in Mysuru, starting on Tuesday in November. We live 600 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Ananya and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Ananya will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • wishing you the best. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.

Praying for you, Jayanthi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.

      • Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. After 17 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

        • Stay strong, Jayanthi. Looking forward to the next update. Blessings.
