My son Udom has been accepted for treatment at Chiang Mai Transplant Centre in Chiang Mai, starting on Wednesday in August. We live 359 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Udom and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Udom will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Rooting for you, Mongkol. Wishing Udom a smooth procedure and a full recovery. It's not much but it's yours!

        • Wishing you peace, Mongkol. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

          • Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Durban so I could bring a meal.
