My sister Lubna has been accepted for treatment at Cairo University Hospital in Cairo, starting on Friday in April. We live 426 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Lubna and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Lubna will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Hope things get better soon, Zakaria. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

    • Praying for you, Zakaria. Hope the doctors have good news. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home

      • hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.

        • Rooting for you, Zakaria. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
