A physics tutor for Lanre, 11, who's falling behind

Lanre is working hard on physics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My nephew, Lanre, is 11 and in Grade 11. Lanre loves school but physics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The board exam is in August. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Lagos or online, for about twenty weeks. Lanre is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in physics, you could change the course of Lanre's year. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
