Rodrigo lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,400.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Rodrigo could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
