A pair of hearing aids for Lena: help me move freely
A pair of hearing aids would give Lena independence - we're $3,050 away.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at Warsaw General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,050.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $2,750
• Fitting and training sessions: $140
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $140
Thanks for being kind about this.

Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Anaheim donated after I showed her your page. Love from Anaheim.
