A pair of hearing aids for Hannah: help Hannah move freely
A pair of hearing aids would give Hannah independence - we're $550 away.
🇺🇸 Buffalo, New York, United States177 views
Hannah lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Buffalo Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Hannah could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $200
• Delivery and set-up: $170
• First-year servicing plan: $180
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
