A mathematics tutor for Samantha, 11, who's falling behind

Samantha is working hard on mathematics but cannot afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My daughter, Samantha, is 11 and in the final year of school. Samantha loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The SAT exam is in July. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in San Diego or online, for about twenty weeks. Samantha is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Samantha's year. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
