A mathematics tutor for Marcus, 13, who's falling behind
Marcus is working hard on mathematics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My son, Marcus, is 13 and in Grade 11. Marcus loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The board exam is in January.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Dallas or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Marcus is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Marcus's year.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope things get better soon. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Put this on a community board in San Jose this morning. Take care.
