A mathematics tutor for Juliana, 16, who's falling behind
Juliana is working hard on mathematics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My niece, Juliana, is 16 and in Grade 11. Juliana loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The SAT exam is in August.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in São Paulo or online, for about twelve weeks.
Juliana is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Juliana's year.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, Heloísa. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.

Thanks for sharing this, Heloísa. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Rochester.
