Chioma is working hard on mathematics but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My daughter, Chioma, is 15 and in Year 10. Chioma loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The board exam is in November. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Asaba or online, for about twenty weeks. Chioma is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Chioma's year. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

                  • Keep going, Nkechi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Asaba.

                    • Wishing you the best, Nkechi. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
