My daughter, Ananya, is 17 and in the final year of school. Ananya loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in September. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Aurangabad or online, for about twelve weeks. Ananya is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Ananya's year. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending good thoughts, Aditi. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Berlin.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Rawalpindi.

                      • It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 26 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Aurangabad.

                        • Hope it all works out, Aditi. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
