A licensed roofer to fix a dangerous fault at Jayden's home in New York

Jayden has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed roofer to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,350 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $125. The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

You're not alone, Jayden. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of New York.

Thanks for sharing this, Jayden. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Epe this morning. God bless.
