A licensed HVAC technician to fix a dangerous fault at Nora's home in Ottawa
Nora has a septic backup, and cannot afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,700 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $240.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Thinking of you, Nora. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Love from Radom.
Hope you get there. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings
