A licensed HVAC technician to fix a dangerous fault at Marlene's home in Paarl
A HVAC technician is needed to repair dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms at the home of a family of 4.

In June an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $430 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Jakarta Barat.
Sending love, Marlene. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. All the best
thinking of you and your family, Marlene. Hope you get there.
