In December an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $250 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $30.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Githinji. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
hope you get there. Please keep us posted. Greetings from Brooklyn
Good luck, Githinji. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. All the best.
