A licensed HVAC technician to fix a dangerous fault at Alberto's home in Madrid

Alberto has a failed boiler with no heating, and can't afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In December an inspector told me that my home has a failed boiler with no heating. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,400 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $100. The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Praying for you, Alberto. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

    • I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Greetings from Riyadh.

      • Take care, Alberto. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Love from Los Angeles.
