In June an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $125 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. Love from Surakarta.
Hang in there, Abena. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Boulogne-Billancourt.
Best of luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Hawassa.
Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from La Plata.
