After a long COVID relapse, I have been mostly housebound for 4 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like podcasts, football and cooking, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Take care. Hope you get there. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

    • Sending good thoughts. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.

      • sending strength, Tareq. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Ciudad de México so I could bring a meal. Take care.

        • Sending love, Tareq. Hope the doctors have good news.

          • Keep going. Get well soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.

            • Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 17 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

              • Thanks for sharing this, Tareq. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 34 people at work.
