A keepsake lost in Petrópolis: any news would mean the world

I'm Renato. I lost my late father's signet ring on Tuesday, somewhere between the market and the bus stop. It's a thin gold band with a tiny engraving inside. It isn't valuable to anyone else, but it's one of the last things I've of father. I've retraced my steps twice and asked at the shops and the bus company. If you've found it, or you have a bin, a bench or a hedge you could check, I'd be grateful. A finder's thank-you is waiting. Please use the offer button here rather than sharing any numbers publicly. Thank you for sharing this and for keeping an eye out.
