A French tutor for Nova, 15, who's falling behind
Nova is working hard on French but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My younger sister, Nova, is 15 and in Form 3. Nova loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in July.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in San Diego or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Nova is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Nova's year.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you peace, Jack. Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of San Diego.
Wishing you the best. Study hard! Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of San Diego
Keep going, Jack. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Take care, Jack. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I hope July is when things finally get easier. God bless.
