A first job in Los Angeles: shop assistant wanted
Looking for someone reliable to start as a shop assistant. Experience matters less than turning up and caring.

I'm Donna, and I run a small corner shop in Los Angeles. Business is steady and I need to take on a shop assistant. I know how hard it's to get started without experience, so I'm putting this where people who need a chance might see it.
The work is serving customers, stocking shelves and tidying up. Hours are about 30 hours a week, and I pay a fair hourly wage, with a pay rise after the first 3 months. You will be trained by me for the first 4 weeks, and I'll write a reference once you've worked with me for three months if it goes well.
You need to be reliable, polite with customers and happy to learn. I'll never ask for a fee, a deposit or your bank details before you start. You can come and see the place before deciding.
If you're interested, send an offer here and we'll take it from there.
