A few hours of disability-rights advocate time could save Janet's home
Looking for a pro bono disability-rights advocate in Texas for a case with a deadline in October.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on October. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in Texas who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Corpus Christi or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this, Janet. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
hang in there, Janet. Hope this works out for you.
best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
