Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Jacques.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on May. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in Ontario who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Ottawa or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Thanks for being kind about this.

thanks for sharing this. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Pasig so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Springfield
stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
You're not alone, Jacques. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
