A few hours of disability-rights advocate time could save Aparecida's home
Aparecida is facing an unlawful eviction and can't afford a lawyer; a disability-rights advocate willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing an unlawful eviction, with a hearing on November. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in Rio de Janeiro who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Petrópolis or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Thank you so much.

Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Radom this morning. Love from Radom.
so sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best
Take care, Aparecida. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Tiruchirappalli but we're thinking of you
