A day in the garden: help Umesh in New Delhi
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Umesh's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in New Delhi for 50 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Greetings from Guadalupe.
hope it all works out, Umesh. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of New Delhi
Thinking of you and your family. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Arusha.
Best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Thinking of New Delhi

You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
