A day in the garden: help Teresa in La Plata
Garden rescue day in La Plata: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in La Plata for 24 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Wishing you peace, Teresa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. After 20 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything!
Stay strong. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Kanpur.
I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
