A day in the garden: help Serenity in San Diego
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Serenity's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in San Diego for 28 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you, Serenity. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
sending love, Serenity. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Kumasi.
