A day in the garden: help Sampath in Dehiwala
Garden rescue day in Dehiwala: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Dehiwala for 26 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

best of luck. Hope the doctors have good news. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Dehiwala.
Thinking of you, Sampath. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Tampa.
Thinking of you and your family, Sampath. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Santos donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Dehiwala.
Thinking of you and your family, Sampath. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update.
So sorry you're going through this, Sampath. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care

Hang in there. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
