A day in the garden: help Saima in Lahore
Saima, 76, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan1,109 views
I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Lahore for 34 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
