A day in the garden: help Nomsa in Soweto
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Nomsa's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Soweto for 32 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Dnipro this morning.
Sending strength. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
