A day in the garden: help Nisha in Kathmandu
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Nisha's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Kathmandu for 39 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts, Nisha. Wishing Nisha a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Ribeirão Preto.
