A day in the garden: help Mariko in Yokohama

Garden rescue day in Yokohama: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Yokohama for 32 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis. The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Thank you for reading my story.
