A day in the garden: help Majid in Cairo
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Majid's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Cairo for 23 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
So sorry you're going through this, Majid. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Giza so I could bring a meal.
Praying for you. Get well soon. My neighbor in Arlington donated after I showed her your page.
