A day in the garden: help Louis in Saint-Denis
Louis, 92, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Saint-Denis for 41 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you and your family, Louis. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Take care, Louis. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Nha Trang donated after I showed her your page. Love from Nha Trang.
