A day in the garden: help Lei in San Jose
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Lei's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in San Jose for 29 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of San Jose
Praying for you, Lei. Get well soon. It's not much but it's yours!
