Jerusalem
I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Jerusalem for 50 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement. The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

              • Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. After 30 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
