A day in the garden: help Kai in Newcastle
Garden rescue day in Newcastle: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 86 and I have lived in this house in Newcastle for 21 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.
