A day in the garden: help Joseph in Mobile
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Joseph's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in Mobile for 41 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this, Joseph. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
stay strong, Joseph. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Madina donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Thinking of you, Joseph. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Newcastle upon Tyne so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Joseph. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Hang in there, Joseph. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Tarkwa.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Mobile.
Praying for you, Joseph. Your post was clear and honest. After 18 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything
