A day in the garden: help John in Nairobi

Garden rescue day in Nairobi: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Nairobi for 27 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis. The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
