A day in the garden: help Inés in Vigo
Inés, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Vigo for 41 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope things get better soon, Inés. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Multan
You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Rio de Janeiro.
