A day in the garden: help Helene in Berlin
Helene, 90, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Berlin for 28 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
