A day in the garden: help Eva in Augusta
Eva, 79, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇺🇸 Augusta, Georgia, United States189 views
I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Augusta for 47 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Los Angeles.
