A day in the garden: help Elena in San Francisco
Garden rescue day in San Francisco: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States252 views
I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in San Francisco for 39 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Albuquerque this morning.
get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Montréal.
Take care, Elena. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Hope things get better soon. Hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Mumbai but we're thinking of you
