A day in the garden: help Dustin in Los Angeles
Garden rescue day in Los Angeles: bring gloves and a rake.
๐บ๐ธ Los Angeles, California, United States915 views
I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Los Angeles for 41 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared this with my family. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Los Angeles
Thanks for sharing this, Dustin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family, Dustin. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Medan.
