A day in the garden: help Caroline in London
Garden rescue day in London: bring gloves and a rake.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom731 views
I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in London for 31 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Sending strength, Caroline. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
so sorry you're going through this, Caroline. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Addis Ababa

Sending good thoughts. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Kadıköy donated after I showed her your page.
