A day in the garden: help Brielle in Sacramento
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Brielle's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Sacramento for 24 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Rooting for you, Brielle. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
good luck. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Iztapalapa so I could bring a meal. Take care
Best of luck, Brielle. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
