A covered market stall space for the Jacaranda health centre yard: help our neighbors in Cape Town
Volunteers in Cape Town are raising $200 for a covered market stall space at the Jacaranda health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 312 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $200 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
• Permits and inspections: $50
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Johannesburg donated after I showed her your page.
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Amsterdam.
