A covered market stall space for Acacia Park: help our neighbors in Lagos
A community-led a covered market stall space at Acacia Park that will serve 126 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 126 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $165
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
