A computer science tutor for Simiyu, 13, who's falling behind
Looking for a patient computer science tutor, 3 hours a week, for 24 weeks.

My nephew, Simiyu, is 13 and in Form 3. Simiyu loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The SAT exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Kikuyu or online, for about twenty weeks.
Simiyu is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Simiyu's year.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Thinking of Kikuyu.
